Welcome!

Whoever you are, wherever you’ve been,
the love of God, in His Son Jesus is for you.
This is what we, at St. Peter Lutheran Church,
have believed for 150 years and counting.
In the waters of Baptism, through the preaching
of the Word, and at the blessed Supper of our
Lord Jesus Christ, we receive the forgiveness,
life, and salvation that God offers to every
human being. If you are looking for peace and
purpose in a caring community of faith, then we
would love for you to come and join us as we
sing, pray, and give thanks to God for giving
us His incredible love!

We are a community of faith founded upon the Gospel of Christ Crucified and Risen — for you!

St. Peter Lutheran Church believes that the God of creation is the God of salvation. We are not perfect people, but we have a perfect Lord and Savior — Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God — who died for our sin and rose from the tomb so that we could be redeemed and restored to eternal life. This Gospel (“Good News”) comes to us by the working of the Holy Spirit in and through Word and Sacrament ministry, so that every person can personally receive God’s Grace, be welcomed into God’s Family, and begin to share God’s Love with the world!

Our History

St. Peter Lutheran Church & School has been focused on providing a Christian education for over 150 years. The original congregation in 1872 prompted by Proverbs 22:6 which says “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”, decided to form a school as well as a church. Many things have changed over the years but teaching children the Word of God has remained consistent.

St. Peter is a great place
to connect
with fellow Christians
and serve like Christ.

There are a wide variety of ministries that you can become involved with allowing you to meet new people and be a blessing to others.

Love to a Thousand Generations

150th Anniversary

St. Peter Lutheran Church and School spent 2022 celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the congregation. Each month a different organization within the church and school shared about a topic relevant to their group. Topics covered during the year-long celebration included history, ministries, facilities, school, service, and looking ahead. We are excited to share this video that was created to commemorate the anniversary.

Love to a thousand generations.
