Dear St. Peter family,
Resources are available to you during this challenging time when we must, for the good of all, be separated from one another.  For your Midweek worship there is a liturgy that includes hymns, readings and prayers.  An audio file is provided containing the readings and my message.  I’ve also provided “Holden Evening Prayer” produced by Immanuel Lutheran Church, Valparaiso, Indiana for use by those of you who’ve grown to love Holden.  If you’ve never heard of this liturgy, I encourage you to listen and enjoy.  These same kinds of resources will be offered for Sunday worship in your home as well.

Many other resources are available to aid you to remain steadfast in the word of God during this time of national crisis.  There is a link to Concordia Publishing House, ( that offers a variety of resources that are free for your use.  What a wonderful gift for us all!

Please check in on your neighbors to make sure they are doing OK.  Invite them to worship with you.  Give them a call.  Pray for one another.  This is likely going to be a long-extended time of being away from one another physically.  We are, however, the Body of Christ!  Christ our Lord is in the midst of us and unites us in Himself.  Stay firm in faith, ever hopeful for an inevitable and happy reunion!  The Peace of Christ be with you.

Sunday 3/22

Here is your Sunday liturgy for use on the Fourth Sunday in Lent. If you are gathered as a family or with others, designate one person to serve as “Leader” who reads the leader portions. If alone, you would read all portions of the liturgy. Readings can be assigned to others in the family or you can listen to the audio file provided of the readings for the day. When you get to the sermon begin playing the audio file provided. At the conclusion of the sermon, continue on with the provided liturgy. Blessings on your time of worship!

You can listen to Sounds of Praise at 7:45am followed by The Lutheran Hour on WKVI.

You can find links to Immanuel Lutheran’s sermon videos on their website. Pastor Cunningham’s sermon on “The Fourth Word from the Cross” is available as well. Click on each block for a video.
