Immanuel Lutheran Church in Batavia, Illinois is hosting Superhero Summer Sunday School at home. With the theme of our recently ended school year being “Jesus is our Superhero” we thought this would be a fun summer Sunday School to share. Each week we will share this fun resource for your family. Here are two weeks to get your started.

Summer Sunday School at Home Superheros: Ark Man

Additionally, the Lord’s Supper will be offered in the St. Peter parking lot following the Bass Lake service, around 10:10am. Please park as you normally would for service. You will be given instructions before the service begins. The liturgy will be a brief service of the Sacrament and then, at the guidance of a Lay Minister or Usher you will drive to the car port in front of the school, receive the gifts, deposit the individual cups in a receptacle and travel home.
Holy Communion will now be offered twice a month, on the second and fourth Sundays. We hope to gather in the sanctuary in the fall.
For your convenience you can drop off your offering during the Communion service or you can give online here

You can find links to Immanuel Lutheran’s sermon videos on their website. Pastor Cunningham’s sermon on “The Fourth Word from the Cross” is available as well. Click on each block for a video.
