It is very important for Christians to have a fellowship of believers around them. We would like to encourage everyone to be involved in more than just Sunday/Monday worship. We pray that you will find a group that helps you grow in your faith and connect with other believers. Below you will find a brief description with links to find out more about many of the ministries and groups at St. Peter.

Cottage Bible Study

The Cottage Bible Study groups meet in the homes of different women of the congregation throughout the months of October through April.

The objective of these studies is to increase our knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and apply it to our own lives by discussing it with other women.

Each meeting includes devotion, Bible Study, refreshments, and fellowship. There are multiple groups that meet at various times of the day and week.

Men’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study

6:00 am Men’s Bible Study group gathers every Wednesday morning during the months of March through December.

9:00 am Men’s Bible Study group gathers every Wednesday morning. Once a month, they gather at the home of one of our home bound members.

Both groups meet in the room next to the school office and enjoy coffee and refreshments during their time together. All men of the congregation are welcome to attend.

Artisans Club
The Artisan Club was formed in 1960 by Dorothy Zak who felt that the women of St. Peter should be using their God-given talents (sewing, crafts, baking, etc.) to provide items for the new school. The first purchase was the blonde piano which is still being used almost 50 years later. Other purchases have been new curtains, flooring, and curtain cleaning.  We also donate to local charities, seminary and college students, service men and women, victims of fire and other loss.  The Artisans have an annual bazaar in November where they sell crafts they have made. A buffet lunch is also available. We meet the 4th Tuesday each month in members’ homes.

Fun & Games
Fun and Games Night is held on the second Sunday of each month from September through May beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The evening opens with a devotion and dining on carry in snacks. The group then plays Bingo or a new game for an hour, and then other games are played, such as Dominoes or Pinochle. In the past the group has also gone Easter Caroling to a local nursing home and taken a tour of the Fair Oaks Dairy Farm.  This group is geared to adults of all ages.

Walking in Fellowship

Walking In Fellowship (WIF) meets each Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30pm and 3:35pm, during the school year, in the gym or cafetorium.  WIF promotes better health and wellness.  They walk to a DVD program that consists of four basic easy to do steps in one mile increments.  Everyone walks at their own pace. Walking in Fellowship is open to the community, everyone is welcome.  We also enjoy fellowship with one another.

Family Activities
Various activities are held throughout the year to encourage fellowship and fun for everyone. We have Family Game Night in February each year, and Trunk-or-Treat is in October. Other events vary from year to year and could include, movie nights, water games, and more.

 Men’s Club
The Men’s Club helps with various projects that need done around the church and school. The group has also prepared pancakes for school events. They also enjoy social activities together.
