School registration will be on Wednesday, August 11 at 6:30pm.  There will be a presentation, time to visit with teachers, and register your child for the school year.  Please bring immunization records if there are any updates to be recorded. For children entering Preschool or Kindergarten please bring  social security numbers, and a birth certificate.

Recharge will be held on Sundays now instead of Saturdays.  We will still meet in the cafetorium but the day and time are changing.  We will meet on Sunday, August 29 at 6:37 pm.

Each Mass Event of the Gathering will stream LIVE for you to watch.  You can go to the Gathering Page of the church website by clicking the link or by going to "Ministries, Children/Youth, Youth Groups, LYF, and then clicking on the NYG Page link on the right side.  Video will start at 7:30pm Sat-Tues and Wed morning at 8:30am.  This is a great way to share in the Youth Gathering experience.  Please remember to pray for the group of 8 youth and 2 adults from our congregation who are attending, and the thousands of teens and adults from around the world.

LYF will have it's second annual Water Wars on Sunday, June 27.  Games and a giant slip n slide.  Bring swim suits.

You'll want to check the Super-Sized VBS page daily to see what the Jr. High and high school youth have been up to.  We'll post updates, photos, and video each day so you won't miss a thing. 

Super Sized VBS will be held Sunday, June 13- Thursday, June 17 in the youth room from 6-8 pm each day.  Youth are welcome to bring friends and relive those VBS days from when they were little.  You won't want to miss the crazy games we'll play.  It's ok if you can't make it every day come when you can.

New heritage photos have been posted.  You can go to the Photo Gallery page or the church history page to view them.  One of the 1915 school band and several from 1972.

We are looking for people who are willing to write a short note to the 8 high school youth and 2 leaders who will be attending the National Youth Gathering this July in New Orleans, Louisiana.  We encourage everyone to sign up, write a short note to your selected youth, and pray for them before, during, and after the Gathering.  There are 108 slots to fill (morning and evening for each youth and leaders together) so please consider signing up.  There will be a sign up sheet at church or if you are unable to attend in the next couple of weeks you can email lyf@stpeternorthjudson.org to sign up.  You will be given a reminder note with more information.  Notes will be needed by July 4.

Quiznos will be added to the in stock Scrip list.  Cards are $10 and give a 10% donation to the school.  You pay $10 for the $10 gift card.  Six Flags will also be available but must be ordered.  The next order will be placed on June 6. 

 Ziploc brand bags and containers can be cleaned out and turned in to the office.  every .1 lb is worth two cents.  Elmers glue bottles and sticks can also be turned in.  We will receive two cents for each one.  In addition to these two new items we also collect Capri Sun pouches, lunchables containers, Frito Lay brand chip bags, Tyson A+ labels, Box Tops, and ink cartridges.  For more information about these items go to the Collect, Save, Earn page of the website.

A second “Prayer Walk Open House will be held this Wednesday, May 19^th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  You are invited to stop by the church anytime during those hours and take some time to stop and pray.  Stations will be set up around the church, and you may simply go to a station and take time to pray about the topic at that station such as Family and Friends, Those who Protect Us, Those in Need, etc.  One station will be dedicated to praying for the man who we are calling to be our next Pastor and his family.  May the Holy Spirit guide our prayers this week and always. 

Jr. High Youth will meet in the youth room from 4-5:30pm on Sunday, May 23.  All youth in grades 5-8 are encouraged to attend.

LYF will be having an update meeting about the National Youth Gathering.  Parents are asked to attend this meeting.  We will be going over our flight and hotel arrangements.  We will also be creating our group's behavior covenant.  We will meet from 6-7:30pm in the youth room.  If time permits we'll also play a game.

Thursday, May 6 is National Day of Prayer.  Everyone is invited to come and pray from 4-8pm.  There will be various "stations" set up in the church with a topic for you to pray about.  Come in anytime between 4 & 8 pm and go through the stations. 

LYF will meet on Sunday, May 2 in the youth room from 6-7:30pm.  We will be going through the second of three Pre-Gathering Bible Studies.  Those youth attending the National Gathering must attend or make arrangements prior to the meeting if they will not be able to attend.

The Bass Lake Drive-in service (held from Memorial Day to Labor Day each summer) schedule is out.  We have four Sundays.  You can see the schedule on the Bass Lake Drive-in Service page.  LYF youth will be asked to attend two of the four.  Bass Lake is our largest fundraiser each year.  Sign-up at the May 2 LYF meeting for your two Sundays.

LYF will be selling butter braids from April 11-25.  High school youth are raising funds to help cover the cost of the National Youth Gathering.  If you would like to order please see a high school youth or email lyf@stpeternorthjudson.org.

LYF will meet in the youth room on Sunday, April 25 from 6-7:30pm.  Butter Braid fundrasiers are due at this meeting.  We will be watching a movie so don't be late.

Preschool registration for the 2010-2011 school year will be on Wednesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 22 from 7:45-11:30am. 

The Fun and Games group would like to invite everyone to join them when they go Easter Caroling to home bound members on Sunday, April 11.  We will meet at the church at 5:00pm and plan to be back around 6:00pm.  You are also welcome to bring a snack and join us for the rest of the evening as well.  Questions-call George and Bev Skibbe- 896-2228.

The Men's 6am Bible Study resumes on Wednesday, March 3 from 6:00-7:00am in the multi-purpose room.  The new topic is strength.  Refreshments are served.  More information.

LYF will meet on Sunday, March 14 from 6-7:30pm in the youth room.  Pizza Kits are due at this meeting. 

LYF is selling Little Caesar Pizza Kits unti March 14.  Youth are raising money to help pay for the National Youth Gathering being held in New Orleans, Louisiana in July.  If you are interested in ordering a pizza kit please contact a youth or leader.

Dairy Queen and Meijer have been added to the Scrip list.  Both are being kept in-stock as well.  Dairy Queen is available for $10, and Meijer offers $25 and $100 options.
