We are looking for people who are willing to write a short note to the 8 high school youth and 2 leaders who will be attending the National Youth Gathering this July in New Orleans, Louisiana.  We encourage everyone to sign up, write a short note to your selected youth, and pray for them before, during, and after the Gathering.  There are 108 slots to fill (morning and evening for each youth and leaders together) so please consider signing up.  There will be a sign up sheet at church or if you are unable to attend in the next couple of weeks you can email lyf@stpeternorthjudson.org to sign up.  You will be given a reminder note with more information.  Notes will be needed by July 4.

Quiznos will be added to the in stock Scrip list.  Cards are $10 and give a 10% donation to the school.  You pay $10 for the $10 gift card.  Six Flags will also be available but must be ordered.  The next order will be placed on June 6. 

 Ziploc brand bags and containers can be cleaned out and turned in to the office.  every .1 lb is worth two cents.  Elmers glue bottles and sticks can also be turned in.  We will receive two cents for each one.  In addition to these two new items we also collect Capri Sun pouches, lunchables containers, Frito Lay brand chip bags, Tyson A+ labels, Box Tops, and ink cartridges.  For more information about these items go to the Collect, Save, Earn page of the website.

A second “Prayer Walk Open House will be held this Wednesday, May 19^th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  You are invited to stop by the church anytime during those hours and take some time to stop and pray.  Stations will be set up around the church, and you may simply go to a station and take time to pray about the topic at that station such as Family and Friends, Those who Protect Us, Those in Need, etc.  One station will be dedicated to praying for the man who we are calling to be our next Pastor and his family.  May the Holy Spirit guide our prayers this week and always. 

Jr. High Youth will meet in the youth room from 4-5:30pm on Sunday, May 23.  All youth in grades 5-8 are encouraged to attend.

LYF will be having an update meeting about the National Youth Gathering.  Parents are asked to attend this meeting.  We will be going over our flight and hotel arrangements.  We will also be creating our group's behavior covenant.  We will meet from 6-7:30pm in the youth room.  If time permits we'll also play a game.
